A special project here for the National Trust’s Kedleston Hall at the Peak District, which we turned around in just 7 days, from brief to printing and delivery for the first day of opening their exhibit.
The exhibit was for Lady Curzon’s 115-year-old Peacock dress made with metal and jewels. The intricate detail and beading means the dress weighs over 4.5kg!
We designed 8 exhibition panels to inform, educate and explain the exhibit- who wore the dress, how and when, all the history, details and how the Trust maintain and keep it.
The special requirements for this type of job were layout and typography, allowing for people with reading difficulties to be able to view and read the information clearly. We also consulted about how and where the panels would hang, and the overall concept brand motif to tie all the panels together and represent the style and era of the exhibit.
This was a lovely project and a pleasure to be involved in.
We turned it round within 7 days from brief to printing and delivery for 1st day of opening in 2017.
