Running a business and constantly thinking of marketing ideas, communications, building relationships whilst ensuring that the pipeline and orders/commissions keep coming in, can be and is very time consuming, exhausting and especially when all the marketing people say, keep visible and be consistent.

I deeply sympathise as I too have to do it, and I can honestly say that one fix never does it, as I’m sure you know. So in this newsletter, I thought I would give you permission to let your brains switch off for a while.

I have been running Fox GDM for over 18 years now, and I see this pattern most years. children break up from school, the holiday jetting off to sunshine with children starts, and also without children, it starts a couple of weeks before and after, so, everyone is changing, moving and adapting.

This is what we creatives do, and most creative directors and business owners.

🍮 Allow yourself to only check emails once a day or every few days.

✈️ Switch mobiles off or on silent, you choose when you are going to check, creating family time and also recharge time.
